Learning any new cutting-edge, high-tech subject can be daunting. You can spend hundreds of hours searching the Web, scanning through forums, and perusing manuals. Or, you can go to the experts and get their help. Unfortunately, this can easily cost you thousands of dollars in consulting fees. Being both electronics hobbyists and professional design engineers, we understand just how time consuming and costly this can be.

Having designed dozens of M2M products over the last decade we've become quite knowledgeable on the subject. We routinely write manuals for clients that we design products for, and so we've compiled quite a bit of documentation. Also, we try to share our expertise by contributing to several on-line tech forums where we frequently post answers to GSM and M2M questions. Now we've decided to take our years of experience and present it in the form of a tutorial and make it available for a nominal charge.

The GSM Developers Bible - DOC-GSM-DEV1  $9.95  This document covers all aspects of designing and working with GSM radios. It covers both the hardware and software sides, giving details on connecting GSM radios to both microcontrollers and PC's. You'll learn how to design power supplies and hardware interfaces based on our experience with industrial applications. It details the communications between the radio and controller, and show you how to send and receive SMS text messages, transfer data using GPRS, and how to handle voice calls.
